About

The Danish Astronautical Society was founded September 20th 1949. The Society is devoted to the peaceful uses of space and has been a member of the IAF (the International Astronautical Federation) since 1951. IAF was founded in 1951 by national astronautical societies.

The society arranges public meetings, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, brings together people interested in space, issues press information and represents Denmark in the IAF. The magazine “Dansk Rumfart” (Danish Spaceflight) is published twice a year and contains articles about space written in Danish.
