For the very first time, the IAC will open its doors to the global space community in the United Arab Emirates, the first Arab country to host the IAC since its establishment in 1950. With the theme “Inspire, Innovate & Discover for the Benefit of Humankind”, the IAC 2021 looks forward to making a contribution to humanity and to science by strengthening and enhancing cooperation between all countries in the space sector.
The conference programme is designed to bring together the international community, including senior representatives of the major space agencies, industries, governments, policy makers, academia and NGOs, as well as representatives of non-space sectors involved in the climate change debate. These leaders in the field will converge in Oslo, Norway to present results, exchange ideas, debate roadmaps, and discuss the future opportunities provided by space activities to contribute to the global climate change mitigation efforts.
For IAC 2022, our motto is “Space for @ll”: we will be reaching beyond the space community to bring together all communities along with the burgeoning global ecosystem of start-ups, entrepreneurs, laboratories, research scientists and manufacturers likely to get involved in space activities or benefit from them. We will offer great opportunities for networking and forging contacts and potential partnerships.
